The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Ashtabula Student Veterans Association is once again presenting the Field of Honor in memory of the September 11th tragedy. This year’s display has nearly 3,000 flags and will be displayed around the flag pole in the center of the campus.
The Student Veterans Association and volunteers placed the flags on Sunday, September 6th. The flags will stay on display on the campus until Sunday, September 13th. The community is invited and encouraged to come by and see the display.
When David Jones graduated from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University at Ashtabula in December 2022 with a degree in information technology and computer networking, his career plans were straightforward. He expected to work in IT building systems, managing networks and solving technical problems behind the scenes.
But just weeks later, he applied for a position that most outside observers would have predicted: executive director of the Conneaut Arts Center.
