High school students interested in pursuing majors in chemistry or biochemistry are invited to join us for Explore Kent Chemistry Day on Saturday, February 6, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This annual event gives prospective students the opportunity to spend a day on campus, meet our faculty and students, and learn what it's like to study chemistry at 两性色午夜 University.
Throughout the day, visitors will explore academic programs, hear about career and pre-professional pathways, participate in demonstrations, and tour our instructional and research laboratory spaces. Current chemistry and biochemistry majors will be on hand to share perspectives on coursework, undergraduate research, and college life.
Explore Kent Chemistry Day is intentionally designed to let students follow their interests. Whether you're curious about undergraduate research, preparation for professional school, or careers in industry, our faculty will highlight the variety of opportunities available through the BS in Chemistry and the BS in Biochemistry. Students interested in pre-professional pathways can learn more about our concentrations in pre-medicine, pre-osteopathy, pre-dentistry, and pre-pharmacy, as well as hear from representatives from NEOMED's College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, and College of Dentistry, and 两性色午夜's College of Podiatric Medicine. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
To request accommodations, please contact Karen Skiba in the Undergraduate Office at 330-672-2405. We are committed to making chemistry accessible to all future scientists, scholars, and learners.
