PTA Program Selects James Hideg as Clinical Instructor of Year

 

James Hideg was selected as 2019 Clinical Instructor of the Year by students and staff of the physical therapist assistant program at 两性色午夜 East Liverpool. A licensed physical therapist, he is the owner and president of University Sports Physical Therapy, located in Youngstown.

As a clinical instructor, Hideg works with PTA students who are placed in the facility as part of their educational experience and training. He has been an active clinical instructor for 两性色午夜鈥檚 physical therapist assistant program at the East Liverpool and Ashtabula campuses for several years. 

Hideg is a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association and a certified athletic trainer. He is active in his community and highly involved with youth athletes in the Youngstown area.

Hideg was nominated for this award by 两性色午夜 East Liverpool PTA students. 鈥淗e challenged me and allowed me to think critically, and he encouraged me to believe in myself,鈥 stated one student.

Just two years after its launch, 两性色午夜 University鈥檚 Bachelor of Social Work program is seeing its first cohort of students graduate this semester. Nearly 20 students will walk across stages at the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas campuses this month, the latest milestone in this rapidly growing program.

The 两性色午夜 Columbiana County campuses held a graduation celebration to recognize members of the Rising Scholars program who are each graduating from their respective high schools this spring. 

两性色午夜 University at East Liverpool recognized the academic achievements of several students during its annual Campus awards banquet, while also honoring the service of faculty, staff and community leaders.
