Nursing Administration and Health Care Systems Leadership (Levels I-IV) Overview

The nursing profession is currently experiencing a significant shortage of Nurse Leaders. The 两性色午夜 University College of Nursing is partnering with health care organizations to creatively address the shortage by providing targeted education to emerging leaders to prepare them to be successful in a leadership role. While the Nursing Administration and Health Systems Leadership Master's degree prepares nurses to successfully navigate the dynamic health care environment and serve as a leader, it can take several years to complete. In order to address the immediate need, the curriculum has been arranged into four Micro-Credentials to coincide with the development of new leaders. Each level is achieved in one year with the successful completion of 9 credit hours, after which a Certificate is awarded recognizing the student's mastery of the skills necessary serve as a nurse leader. There are three Micro-Credentials possible: Level 1, Emerging Leader; Level 2, Intermediate Leader; and, Level 3, Advanced Leader. Once completed, the student may opt to complete the Practicum, which results in earning the Master's Degree of Nursing Administration and Health Systems Leadership.
