Young Explorers: Smart City Air Rescue Grades 3-5 Overview

Campers will explore the exciting world of aviation through hands-on activities and interactive challenges in both the AT&T Classroom and the College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE). Throughout the week, students will investigate how airplanes fly, how pilots navigate, and how engineers design aircraft, using age-appropriate technology, simulations, and engineering tools. Campers will engage in building, testing, and problem-solving experiences that introduce core concepts related to flight, forces, and engineering design while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and teamwork. On Friday, campers will spend the whole day in the CAE building participating in aviation-focused projects and activities. Lunch will be provided. Families will be invited to join their child at the end of the day for an Aviation Showcase, where campers will share what they have learned and created. Friday camp pick-up will be at 3:00 p.m. at the CAE building.
