Hillel Bagels To-Go

  • Find Hillel staff stationed around campus to fuel your first day of classes with a bagel and schmear.  
  • Spot them between 9am-3pm at one of these locations: Eastway, K (Risman Plaza), and the Crawford Business School. 
  • Eastway: 9-11 a.m., Risman Plaza: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and Business: 1-3 p.m. 

Poster Sale

  • The biggest and newest back to school poster sale is coming to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹!
  • The sale is put on by the company the College Poster Sale and is sponsored by the Flash Activities Board (FAB).
  • The sale will be all week from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on the second floor of the Kent Student Center. 

IT Welcome Tent

  • Welcome to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹! Stop by the IT Welcome Tent to discover free tech resources available to help you succeed in school!
  • Learn how to get free Microsoft Office, Adobe Express, TechHelp support, tech training, and much more. Our team is here to answer your questions and get you connected.

  • Will be on the Risman Plaza from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

Week of Welcome: Popcorn with Professors (College of Aeronautics and Engineering) 

  • Pop in to meet your professors in the Aeronautics and Engineering Building First Floor Timken Atrium.
  • Enjoy $1.99 Tractor Juice at the Charging Station all day!

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Optional Orientation - In-Person Session

  • New to SAS? Join one of Student Accessibility Services’ optional orientation sessions to get a quick refresher on sending Course Accommodation Letters, scheduling exams, and using your accommodations with confidence.

  • This session will take place from 2-3 p.m. on the first floor of the University Library.   

Popsicles with EHHS: Pop in or Stay and Chill

  • Happy first day of Fall 2025! Stop by and cool off, meet new friends, and kick off your first year with your classmates in the College of Education, Health and Human Services.  
  • This event will be at the fountain between White Hall and Crawford Hall between 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.  

Introduction to Climbing and Belaying Clinic

  • This two-and-a-half hour program covers the basics of indoor climbing including equipment, bouldering, top rope climbing, and belaying with an ATC and Gri-gri device.   
  • This program sets up an individual with no prior experience to take our belay test which is required when purchasing a climbing wall membership.   
  • This event will take place from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center Climbing Wall.
