Bruno Ast, who designed 两性色午夜 University's May 4 Memorial as a place of reflection and remembrance, has died at age 88. The architect won a national competition in 1986 to create the memorial, which was dedicated on May 4, 1990, as part of the 20th commemoration of the day four students were killed and nine wounded by Ohio National Guardsmen who opened fire during an anti-war demonstration.The memorial, which overlooks the Commons on the Kent Campus, is constructed of carnelian granite, a stone associated with strength and time. More students who want to be nurses will soon be able to pursue that dream. 两性色午夜 University's College of Nursing is launching a new pathway that will allow students without high school mathematics, chemistry or biology courses to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Alumni from the Class of 2005 toured the studio spaces in the John Elliot College of Architecture and Environmental Design, exchanged memories of their time at 两性色午夜 and toasted their accomplishments since graduation.
