Pre-College programs at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University range from art and technology camps for youth to College Credit Plus and Tech Prep courses for eligible middle and high school students. Our pre-college programs allow young students to explore interests, build skills, and earn college credit.

The micro-credential initiative for Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University supports the development and implementation of both credit and non-credit micro-credentials designed to enable learners to gain specific, demonstrable skills and competencies.

Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s professional education initiative offers and supports professional development to help lifelong learners gain the skills and competencies needed for job and career success.

I became very excited about traveling internationally. The Col. Thomas J. Hogan Endowed Scholarship was established to support students pursuing a degree in Political Science. Col. Hogan graduated from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University with a degree in Political Science in 1956. To be eligible for the scholarship you must be a Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University student in their junior year of study majoring in Political Science, with a GPA of at least 3.0 and the demonstration of financial need as determined by the student's FAFSA form. First preference will be given to a student who is an Army ROTC Cadet.
The Shirley A. (Robb) Dubetz endowment was established in 1991. This award will be made to a Political Science major and Pre-law minor senior on the basis of leadership, personal achievement and financial need.
The Erik Heidemann Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a total of three graduate and undergraduate students in the department of Political Science. Dr. Erik Heidemann was a colleague in the department who proved to be a stellar teacher, a committed scholar and an active member of the department during his short time with us. He passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 3, 2013. His parents Marlinda and David Heidemann created this scholarship as a memorial to their son, to support both the undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Political Science.
John Logue, Professor of Political Science at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University for over 30 years, was the founding director of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center at KSU. He was deeply committed to promoting economic democracy and saw employee ownership as a means to that end. In his memory, the John Logue Memorial Employee Ownership Scholarship was established.
