Several new and renovated Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University buildings received Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) recognition in 2016, bringing to 11 the total number of certified buildings on Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s campuses. The Bicycle Friendly University award is presented to colleges and universities for their efforts toward making campuses safe and accessible for bicyclists. Terry Schwarz is the director of Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) which is the outreach arm of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. Terry’s work at the CUDC includes neighborhood and campus planning, commercial and residential design guidelines, and ecological strategies for vacant land reuse.
