Salem, Ohio – ����ɫ��ҹ at Salem held its annual nursing convocation and pinning ceremony at Avian on the Water in Canfield, during which 44 students received their nursing pins and recited the nursing pledge. All are receiving degrees this year through the bachelor’s of science in nursing (BSN) program on the Salem campus. In a ceremony held May 3 in Columbus, Ohio, WKSU was honored with 10 awards from the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors, including the top award for General Excellence (an award presented to the large market radio station with the best showing in the competition). WKSU reporter/producer Jeff St. Clair has been recognized by the Radio-Television-Digital News Association (RTDNA) with a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Reporting. WKSU competes in the Large Market division against public and commercial radio stations in major cities in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Eboni Pringle, Ph.D., of Kent, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean of the University College (formerly Undergraduate Studies) at ����ɫ��ҹ University after an internal search.
