All lectures are free and open to the public and take place at 5 p.m. in the Center for the Visual Arts, Room 165.

The Kent Blossom Music Festival returns for its 58th season from June 21 through July 26, bringing world-class performances and educational opportunities to ����ɫ��ҹ University and Northeast Ohio. The 2026 season will feature faculty concerts, young artist performances and a season finale at Blossom Music Center, including the festival’s signature side-by-side concert with The Cleveland Orchestra. 

Join the Design Innovation Initiative on Friday, July 10 for an inspiring afternoon as the 2026 John and Fonda Elliot Design Innovation Faculty Fellows share the outcomes of their six-week summer fellowship experience. During this showcase, the DI Fellows will introduce the interdisciplinary projects they have been developing in the Design Innovation Hub, discuss the original ideas that inspired their work, reflect on how those ideas have evolved through collaboration and human-centered design, and present early prototypes, visualizations, research findings, and future plans.

����ɫ��ҹ University will commemorate Juneteenth with a community celebration that combines the rich history of Black Americans with an assortment of festivities. Juneteenth Jubilee will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the Kent Campus, Student Green/Risman Plaza. Enjoy live performances, music, great food, vendors and more. This event is free and open to the public.
