What voluntary cancer insurance is available for employees?

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University employees are eligible to apply for the Aflac Cancer Care insurance policy.

In the U.S., men have slightly less than a 50 percent lifetime risk of developing cancer. American women have slightly more than a 33 percent lifetime risk of developing cancer.1

Chances are you know someone who has been affected, directly or indirectly, by cancer. You may also know the physical, emotional and financial toll it can take on people and families.

The Aflac Cancer Care insurance policy pays cash benefits upon initial diagnosis of a covered cancer, with a variety of other benefits payable throughout cancer treatment. You can use these cash benefits to help pay out-of-pocket medical expenses, the rent or mortgage payment, groceries or utility bills.

Here’s how it works:

  • Aflac Cancer Care - Premier coverage is selected.
  • Policyholder suffers from frequent infections and high fevers.
  • Physician visit and bone marrow biopsy reveals diagnosis of leukemia.
  • Aflac Cancer Care - Premier insurance policy has total benefits of $52,900.2

Please direct policy questions to Aflac independent agent Derrick Fellows at 216-382-9500 or email derrick_fellows@us.aflac.com.
