JOUD ROUFAEL, MPH

Congratulations to Joud Roufael, MPH, Ph.D. candidate, who has been recognized in the "Arab Americans You Should Know" list by the Arab Americans of Cleveland (AAC), a Northeast Ohio professional network. Roufael currently serves as a Partner-Facing Research Analyst at Truveta, where he leads and executes real-world evidence studies that advance the discovery of new therapies, strengthen clinical trials, and improve patient outcomes across diverse populations in the U.S.  

His research background includes national pharmaceutical analytics at Surescripts, patient care-driven insights at Cleveland Clinic, and multiple minority health initiatives at the local and state levels throughout Ohio, spanning Kent, Akron, Columbus, and Cleveland.

Roufael has also taught undergraduate courses in public health at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University, where he is completing his Ph.D. focused on mental health service utilization among international students. A committed advocate for inclusive and data-driven public health, he mentors emerging researchers, contributes to international community programs, and draws on his experience as a first-generation immigrant to help others navigate academic, professional, and healthcare systems in the United States

TYLER (TY) STIMPERT, MPH

Congratulations to Tyler (Ty) Stimpert, MPH, for being included in the Forty under 40 list by Crain's Cleveland Business.

With nearly a decade of experience, Stimpert strives to eliminate disparities in cancer care and community health through research, education, prevention, navigation, and to improve access to healthcare resources in underserved populations.

As Community Outreach Program Manager at Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute, Ty leads life-saving programs that bring health education, screenings, and support directly to marginalized communities.

Outside of work, Stimpert continues his mission in multiple ways, including serving as Board President at B. Riley House, a nonprofit supporting addiction recovery in the LGBTQ+ community.

Stimpert holds a Master of Public Health from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ (plus an LGBTQ+ Public Health Certificate) and a BSBA in International Business from John Carroll University. His work blends research, outreach, and heart - all to build a healthier, more inclusive future.
