To ensure fair scheduling, efficient operations, and the best experience for all users, the following policies apply to all ice time reservations at the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Ice Arena.
Rental Policy
Rental Rate
$275 per hour
Minimum rental duration is one hour; additional time may be purchased in 5-minute increments based on availability.
Ice availability is subject to existing arena programs and priority scheduling.
Rate includes ice time only. Amenities such as skate rentals, skate aids, or other equipment are not included.
Facility Use Agreement
A signed Facility Use Agreement is required for all rentals
This legal agreement outlines the terms and conditions of use, ensuring clarity, transparency, and mutual protection
The agreement promotes responsible use and helps ensure a safe and well-managed facility
Insurance Requirements
Renters (Licensees) must provide proof of General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University and Recreation and Wellness Services must be listed as an Additional Insured and/or Certificate Holder
Payment
Organizations with contracted ice will be invoiced monthly, with payment due within 30 days of receiving an invoice
Individual rentals must be paid in full prior to the scheduled ice time
Accepted payment methods: check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover)
Cancellation Policy
Notice Requirement
Cancellations or returns must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the scheduled rental
Late Cancellations
If less than 30 days’ notice is provided, the renter will be responsible for the full cost unless the ice is resold
If the time is successfully resold, the original customer will not be charged
Cancellation Process
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Ice Arena management
Early notice is encouraged to increase the chance of rebooking the time slot
Exceptions
The Ice Arena may consider exceptions for cancellations due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., severe weather)

Schedule Adjustments
The Ice Arena reserves the right to adjust start and end times to accommodate programming and maximize facility efficiency
Customers will be notified in advance of any changes whenever possible, and efforts will be made to minimize disruptions
