What does this mean for you?

As part鈥痮f鈥痶his requirement,鈥痑ll digital course content鈥痬ust conform to these standards.  This requirement includes all materials in Canvas, even if your course is taught face-to-face. This webpage is being regularly updated and continues to add training sessions, videos, and guides on addressing the most pressing issues. 

How can you get started?

Getting started with digital accessibility doesn鈥檛 have to be overwhelming. Begin by reviewing your existing course materials, especially documents, videos, and images, to identify common accessibility issues. First, focus on high-impact areas such as 

  • Headings
  • Color contrast
  • Alternative text
  • Captioning
