Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Honors Orchestra Festival on November 1, 2026 is a one-day educational and performance experience for outstanding high school string students from across the region. Students are nominated by their orchestra directors or private teachers in recognition of their musical achievement, leadership, dedication and potential. 

Honors orchestra participation is an important distinction for young musicians and provides students with the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside other highly motivated performers while working closely with university faculty, conductors and collegiate musicians. 

The festival will include: 

• Master classes and sectionals with Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University faculty and graduate assistants 

• A side-by-side orchestra rehearsal experience with Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Symphony Orchestra 

• Opportunities to connect with current music students and faculty 

• A final educational concert performance on the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ campus 

This event is designed to inspire and support the next generation of orchestral musicians while giving students and teachers the opportunity to experience the vibrant musical community at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University. 

Nomination Information: 
High school orchestra directors and private teachers may nominate students using the nomination form below. The nomination form must be completed by the end of the day on October 6, 2026. No late nominations will be accepted.
