Step Up & Speak Out is a collaborative initiative designed to education the university community on how to identify and assist individuals in destress or who are disruptive. It provides resources including a response guide, information on responding to suicide risk, and training for faculty and staff to foster a more caring campus culture by increasing awareness of mental health concerns and reducing stigma. A family income between $75,001–$100,000 may qualify for reduced tuition support (up to $2,000)

You must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress standards

You must be enrolled in a degree-granting program (including exploratory and pre-majors) 

You must be pursuing your first bachelor’s degree full-time at the Kent Campus

You must be classified as an Ohio resident for tuition purposes, which includes being Selective Service compliant

You must be a United States citizen or permanent resident
