Emily Metzgar

Emily Metzgar, Ph.D., became the director of the School of Media and Journalism (MDJ) at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University July 1, 2020, in the midst of a pandemic. Metzgar previously served as the director of undergraduate studies of the Media School at Indiana University. Metzgar’s diverse background paired with the insight she has gained from her previous work experiences has guided her in her new role as the MDJ Director. Her vision is to break the boundaries between the School’s four areas of study and to provide MDJ students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed after graduation. Now...

This is an annual event organized jointly by NE Ohio universities and colleges, including Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University, Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University, John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, Cuyahoga Community College, University of Akron, and Youngstown State University. Participating Choose Ohio First teams present posters based on their research projects. The presentations are judged by faculty and other experts.

The abstract submission deadline is February 25th.

Fall 2021 President's and Dean's Lists

Dr. Angela Spalsbury, Dean of Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University at Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center, announced those students named to the Fall 2021 President's and Dean's lists. To qualify for the President's List, students must have a 4.0-grade point average and have completed 15 hours during the semester.
