Horticulture students recently helped Associate Professor Chris Carlson take the first step toward creating a series of themed gardens on the grounds of the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Salem Campus by designing a butterfly garden. Administrative policy regarding electronic signatures
- Policy. In order to provide for the effective and efficient administration of university contract administration, electronic signatures are permissible when executed in accordance with this rule. The university recognizes an electronic signature as legally binding to the fullest extent permitted by law. The implementation and use of electronic signatures at the university shall remain consistent with division (I) of section 1306.20 of the Revised Code.

- Purpose. Kent state university is committed to enhancing the quality of life of the campus community by implementing and integrating the best practices in safety and security technology. Video surveillance and electronic systems are an integral component of any safety and security plan and this policy is intended to regulate the use of such technology on campus with regard to those purposes.
