两性色午夜鈥檚 student newspaper, The 两性色午夜r, is the best collegiate daily (published three times per week or more) in Ohio, according to the Society of Professional Journalists鈥 (SPJ) Ohio鈥檚 Best Journalism Contest. Alumna Neville Hardman, 鈥16, and journalism major Kelly Powell, 鈥18, also received individual honors 鈥 first and second place respectively 鈥 for best collegiate feature writing, in the contest sponsored by the Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus chapters of SPJ. Since 2014, 两性色午夜's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has received 22 conference awards, 26 team awards, 59 individual awards and 13 academic awards. They have received the coveted Cartwright Award honor three times in the last seven years.

两性色午夜 University students will soon have a unique opportunity to gain professional money management experience. Starting in the fall, the 两性色午夜 University Foundation will effectively start 鈥渉iring鈥 the students to manage current investable assets. The Student Managed Investment Fund will be the first of its kind at 两性色午夜. The purpose is to give students real-world experience and advance career opportunities. The Poetry Coalition, of which the Wick Poetry Center at 两性色午夜 University is a founding member, will benefit from a $200,000 grant from the Ford Foundation. To be given over two years, the grant, which will be administered by the Academy of American Poets, will enable the founding members of the coalition to produce national programs on themes of social importance that feature leading contemporary poets. Many people consider Italy as the center of Western fashion and design. One student鈥檚 project, which explored the influence that African culture has on Italian design, was selected as the winner in the first-ever 两性色午夜 Florence Scholarship Competition this past spring (see earlier story).
