The competition is the oldest of its kind with roots that can be traced back to the 1929 Women鈥檚 Air Derby, in which Amelia Earhart and 19 other female pilots raced from California to Cleveland. Honesty helped to bring a beloved 1980s television series to the stage in the Human Race Theatre Company's world premiere production of Family Ties.
