Local high school students participate in entrepreneurship workshop hosted by LaunchNET Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹

In October 2017, two groups of local high schools students came to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University to participate in an entrepreneurial workshop designed to increase the students’ awareness and knowledge of the venture formation process, hosted by LaunchNET. Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s Adam Jajtner, Ph.D., and Ellen Glickman, Ph.D., stand in their research lab. The two exercise science/physiology faculty members will lead a study related to the use of probiotics and physical exercise.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s Exercise Science/Physiology Program was awarded a $248,000 grant by i-Health Inc. to conduct a study relating to the use of probiotics and physical exercise. Seven Nepali Friends and Students at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹

This fall semester, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ is privileged to welcome seven international students to its campus, all of which are friends from Nepal: Anit Kunwar, Saroj Dahal, Man Bahadur Kshetri, Swastik Shrestha, Bishal Pokhrel, Mahesh Gaire, and Salan Gahaju. Being close friends while living in Nepal, the seven still find it extraordinary that they all decided to choose Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ as their academic destination this fall.
