Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ and Cleveland State Partner to Shorten Time Students Need for Bachelor’s, Law Degrees
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University has established a new partnership with Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law to offer students two pathways to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ and a law degree from CSU in six years. The new 3+3 program will shorten the length of time typically needed to complete both degrees.
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Leads First Comprehensive Greater Akron LGBTQ+ Specific Community Needs Assessment
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University has partnered with Greater Akron community organizations to conduct the first comprehensive and specific LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment (CNA). Efforts of this assessment focus on producing a better-informed public health system and improving the health and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community members.
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ College of Nursing, Cleveland Clinic Akron General Team Up to Offer Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Certificate Program
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University’s College of Nursing and Cleveland Clinic Akron General are joining forces to offer an adult/adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) certificate program beginning this fall. This collaborative one-year program was created to address the regional and national shortage of SANE-certified registered nurses, especially in rural areas.
Pittsburgh Penguins and Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Partnership Scores Unique Opportunities for Golden Flashes
Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ has partnered with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins since 2018, allowing this nationally recognized hockey team to work closely with the university and providing professional and recreational aid to the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ community. The partnership includes multiple facets that focus on future Golden Flashes, current students and alumni alike.
