Sixteen years later, Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ alumna Emilia Sykes, a native of Akron, Ohio, was elected to represent the same district, making her the first Black Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ alum to serve in the House of Representatives.
