A North Royalton woman whom who will become a Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University student in the fall, won first place at the Medina County Fair talent show for performing a song in American Sign Language.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Volunteers Impact the Lives of Others Beyond Campus 

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University prepare dinner for the residents of the Kentway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in Kent. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.

Kenzie Alge, a Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University certified flight instructor and 2019 graduate, and Alex Johnson, a Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ junior flight technology student, make up the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ team competing in the 2019 Air Race Classic that starts June 18 in Jackson, Tennessee.

From Kent to Cambridge: Alumna Ya'el Courtney to Study Neuroscience at Harvard University

Throughout her time at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University, Ya'el Courtney completed a Senior Honors Thesis/Project, authored several published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at several national and international conferences. As she continues her education at Harvard University, she intends to conduct a significant amount of research focusing on psychiatric diseases.
