Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Board Endorses New Structure for Academic Colleges, Establishes Three New Majors

The Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Board of Trustees met March 19 on the Kent Campus for its regular quarterly meeting. Among its actions, the Board endorsed the Division of Academic Affairs’ plan for degree-granting colleges called Transformation 2028.

Fully Online Programs Offer Flexibility, Quality

The national trend of fully online enrollment has been decreasing since the pandemic, but Á½ÐÔÉ«Îçҹ’s online programs are bucking those trends. Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ offers 90 fully online degree and certificate programs. From bachelor’s to master’s degree programs, the university provides its nationally distinctive academics completely online.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University alumnus Antonio Gates has begun his journey to football immortality, recently visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, to meet with officials and begin preparations for his enshrinement. The former basketball standout at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ will become just the second Golden Flash to earn a gold jacket, joining linebacker Jack Lambert who was enshrined in 1990.
