Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, started out as a typical day at the Daily Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹r. Reporters were preparing for their daily assignments. Editors were planning their daily meetings. But, by the time Daily Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹r staff got to the newsroom on Tuesday, they were faced with just one story: a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ students grabbed their paddles, boots and waders to help clean up the Cuyahoga River. The service trip was put together by the Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Services’ Adventure Center, which holds adventure trips, service trips and team-building programs.
