On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ pride.

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University prepare dinner for the residents of the Kentway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in Kent. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.
