On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ pride.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University Geauga Campus is a rigorous academic environment that requires serious discipline, study, practice, and testing. It’s also an intimate environment of friends, instructors, and mentors who support each other from one challenge to the next, and inspire one another to reach out for the benefit of others. As a student association, they give back to the community through fundraising, strengthening the nursing program for future students and charitable outreach throughout the region.

Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Volunteers Impact the Lives of Others Beyond Campus 

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ University prepare dinner for the residents of the Kentway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in Kent. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.
